Underrated vocal wonder?

Here is a performance that I wouldn't know of if I weren't into science and technology. It appears on ted.com, TED being a conference held in Monterey mostly hosting lectures on science as well as Technology, Entertainment and Design. There are also some performances on it, though. Here are some that I've stumbled upon. Her name is Nellie McKay. I think she's beautiful, funny, witty and generally charming. What's most important is that she sings from the heart. I know, she's a bit political and all, but who cares? She's pretty.
