agree on the sticky comment. anyone would be a fool to not be able to think of songs to play after reading through this lol! glad you all shared, got some great ideas. some were even prompted not by borrowing selections, but forgetting about artists that i enjoyed playing in full bands.

this is a nice idea. beats trying to hear muffled screams from across the bar or in your face while your in the middle of a song lol!
and john bartus - i was diggin your list, then saw 'dream weaver' and really started taking a look. that's a good song book man. i'll put you on the list of acts to catch (along with NN) when i make it to florida again. -
the metal tunes have been arranged in a non-in-your-face style. mellow, slowed tempo, laid back. they go surprisingly well even at wineries where people aren't familiar with them haha!
admittedly some of the other selections do require an appropriate audience and venue. i.e. screaming dave grohl songs and the 80's pop/dance tunes.
i'll get to clips someday if i ever buy recording gear. i still use a non-smart flip phone -
haha! we've lost track of a countless number of tunes over time, until someone asks for it then oh yeah.

potts - watched some of your youtube and looking over your list - you could easily add lookin out my back door (CCR) and sunshine (john edwards). they flow nicely with have you ever seen the rain. have you tried anything with the bee gees too much heaven? we started working on that this week.
some nice looking lists here.
here's our list from late last fall, not updated for recent batch of 20 additions/replacements. we take songs in and out of rotation quite a bit. pardon the format, google docs doesn't cut and paste well. and excuse my exclusion of blackbird
