you can clearly see the alu/steel thing too. It holds two of the heaviests transformers in the industry . . .

    here`s a VH4, which is even higher

We'll make a record someday together called Kraut Steel covering Judas Priest tunes /w Mr. Diezel on vocals!!!

Pete, there's no need to actually answer to this type of statements!!! The quality you offer is unmached. And I'm not talking about amps only, but also for quality of service.

    Olaf, I've owned this poweramp!
I haven't shed too much tears for gear I sold in the past. For this unit believe me I cried a lot!!!

Anyway it was sacrificed to the altar of VH4

Everyone who talks about them around here is basically right. The amp sounds like a very produced high gain mesa with rectifierish sag but it still plays tighter than my triple rec. The gain on channel 3 was over the top and the mid cut put chanel three into nu metal territory instantly. I still couldn't hear anything that said, this warrants twice the price of a recto. Maybe I didn't hear it in the right space or at the right distance from the cab but I went home, cranked the recto and my gas for the herbert died.

Consider that when we buy US made amps in Europe, we pay similar amounts. C'mon Diezels are import for u!!!
Secondly, I haven't heard the Framus(I'm sure it is a good amp, from what people say), but surely Herb it's not like a recto. Actually the recto is not even close to Herb tonewisely and even in terms of construction!

BTW Have u heard a cranked Herbert!!!
