    3. What do the answers to #1 and #2 suggest in terms of the guitar's potential value? 

    Native Pros had built-in sustainer systems at the neck - either of the humbucker or single coil variety. The toggle switches for the Pros were always through the body (not the pickguard like yours). The X series was their cheapest version and didn't have a sustainer unit. So, I imagine yours is a heavily modded Native X.
