Does anybody remember Philips making a two octave keyboard in the 1960s?
Yes that's Phillips the people that make everything from TVs to electric toothbrushes.
I remember seeing a two octave keyboard in my local music shop and on it was the Philips logo, which I found strange.
It had built-in speakers and was beautifully designed, more like a piece of furniture, rather than a gigging instrument.
It had four legs and a wooden cabinet and 6 presets
it didn't sound that great but it had some unique sounds, like a Hammond-esque one.
It wasn't as large as some of the Philicordias I've seen.
Anybody remember them? They may have only been sold in Europe.
