Custom Shop Washburn Maverick Standard WMS in minty condition with OHSC - $650
Original owner said it was a 2003 but the S/N starts with 99 which according to the Washburn website means it's a 99. Doesn't really matter because this guitar shows no wear of any kind.
This is a US made guitar from the Chicago factory that produces the N4 and others. It's double cutaway, set neck, TOM bridge and stop tailpiece. Two humbuckers: SD 59 and Custom Custom. 24.75" neck with nice rounded profile similar to a LP. Satin finish over mahogany body with an amazing scultped neck joint that will give you fantastic access to upper frets. Includes the Buzz Feiten nut.
Guitar was recently set up and plays and sounds great.

A neck through US model is all I can comment on. The neck is wide like a LP 59 but not as round. The back is somewhat more flat hence the compound label.
In all it's a very nice neck to my hands feel very meaty but also fast. I'm picky about the necks on my guitars and really think it's an amazing part of the guitar.

The DMs were the HOT pickup back then and the Norlin era Gibsons were kind of blah. (by hot I mean most people would have considered them an upgrade to the Gibson stock items)
I'm very tempted by this but got to move my amp, rob a bank or something else.
PS based on the age I'd have to ask about the frets.

I don't care for the faded models but if you do then the guitar is every bit a LP as a standard and is a good value.
Both necks work fine for me just really a matter of taste too.
