I read somewhere where bondo was added to help beef up the structure.

............If he didn't use it as his #1 guitar? Or if some plain Joe had a guitar like it,had friends to sign it,had a huge hole,and been bondoed together? Willie's "Trigger" is worth millions just because he plays it.Same as Paul McCartney's "Beatle" bass.I read an article where Willie bought his beloved guitar for $750. Now Martin is selling the same model classical for a mere $5500. They discontinued the model years ago,but because of Willie,they decided to resurect it.There sure is something special about guitar players and their instruments!

I don't we will ever know the answer,I think he'll buried with it. What do you all think?

I bought a Conn acoustic back in 1983 or 84,but it was a great little guitar. It held up great for me,I wanted a Martin,but I made a litle more then minimum wage back then. It was a full size guitar and it held medium gauage strings on there. It fell over once,busted the neck in half,had it fixed by a luither,it played even better. The tuners were crap,and was worthless. I wish I knew then what I know now,Iwould've put top notch tuners and a bone saddle. It was a great guitar for $160.00. I wish I still had it for sentimental reasons,it was loud too.

Phil Keaggy is an awesome acoustic player. When playing live,he actually changes alternate tunings while playing,amazing.
