Sennheiser HD280 Pro Headphones in Recording Posted August 20, 2019 My experience with Sennheiser headphones with removing lead, on the HD 540 Reference, was really bad! I don't see it as a disadvantage to have a fixed lead at all, especially in the context of headphones for recording.
