I've just checked in for the first time in.... years. Miss this place, used to surf it all day long when I worked a dead-end desk job with a lax web-use policy.

Anyway, thread needs more guitars. Here's a pic of my main squeeze at the moment - "inherited" from my dad recently - he's alive and well, but mostly plays acoustic these days.

My 2010 LP Studio is the lightest electric I own - the others being a Strat and SG. It sounds very good - bags of sustain, nice creamy tone - but it doesn't quite sound the same as a solid-bodied LP.

I do love the weight though - if I've got a long walk to rehearsal or if I'm tiring towards the end of a gig I can switch to it from my #1 Strat and save on backache. My Strat is one of the heaviest I've ever played.
