Sounds cool Lee. I don't use high gain too often, more blues/funk stuff and classic rock. If I need high gain my 800 and a pedal is more than enough. Thanks for the insights. Rob

Well now i'm convinced I need one when someone in the recording forum gives props to a pedal! I use a modded SD-1 but it gets schrill with the tone past noon when recording it. It benifits with an EQ too somtimes. It's either an OCD or i'm savin my pennies for a Klon. What amp and how are you running it? Clean amp, semi-dirt amp??

I wouldn't know but that sounds like a great project! If you know and trust the family, can you just ask them what they might have paid in the past?

our band played at a friends wedding some years ago. Everyone was openly telling the guy ,, dude, don't marry this chick, she's a whore! He just laughed and says hey, I knocked her up, i'm gonna do the right thing. So we do the wedding and it was a blast. Not your typical wedding. It was at a bar and it was a truely rockin time. Well, durring the coarse of the night, the bride starts flirting around with ALL the band guys. Our other guitarist was single and he was drinkin and gettin horned up. By the way, this girl was hot. Just a slut is all. Well she ended up following our guitar player home, walking in his house and fuckin his brains out on the wedding night! Two days later she was at my house but my then girlfriend was over so she just visited. Then I heard that same night she went to our drummers house and did him! WOW! Needless to say, they are divorced now.

Yes, another gremlin exists!! My drummer plays guitar a bit and he has a gremlin. We actually use the term to describe killer guitars. Obviously it's not a high grade guitar but a great beginner. His gremlin has withstood many a drunken air-jam:D
Fulltone OCD pedal to the rescue!!!

I've got a Paul Cochrane Timmy thats pretty sweet for some stuff, a Teese Picture Wah, and a Guyatone MD3 micro delay. It's a digital delay but sounds really quite good. The other pedal I find pretty useful is an old Pearl Compressor. I only use it if it's going to be on. It can be a tone sucker when off. But it's nice for rounding and fattening things out, not so much for the chiken pickin thing. Pretty versitile because it has a tone knob, as well as a level, attack and sustain. Otherwise I have an EH chorus and a few other modulators but I kinda prefer adding that stuff in the mix. For the most part I like running straight into my amp and add stuff later. It all depends on what i'm workin on. I'll be pickin up an OCD this week though.
