Anyone have any experience with the Jacques Fat Burner? How about the MXR CSP 202 custom shop compressor?

I'm in the market for a compressor and saw the price point of $129.00 as the upper end of my budget. These two intrigue me for different reasons.

I'll bet those boys went by ear and instinct.

If they sat down and dismantled their playing and tried to figure out the harmony theory behind it, they would lose the magic.
