How to Get LOUD Masters Without Overcompressing in Uncategorized Posted August 20, 2019 Craig, excellent info. If am mastering tracks imported spdif from DAT tapes, that are finished mixes, (transfered from two-rack 1/4 inch master, recorded live in a real studio with a real engineer) should I apply a DC offset filter to that stuff too ? (I have a couple of more "home made" tracks that make a nasty glitchy sound at the beginning or end . I guess those really need it. ) And Dither ? Otherwise I am inclined not to mess with it much. (Asssuming making "CD ready tracks"
