What I don't understand is why do people on forums hate everything?

EDIT: my bad..... post directed @ pesky
Who brought the friction into THIS thread ? You sir. Just because someone didn't agree with you.
You got banned from a Strat forum and a Squier forum because you refused to accept action by mods. You placed yourself ABOVE the forum rules there. And here you are demanding zero tolerance mod action on HC ?
That's hypocrisy my friend.

a great guitar, solid as hell and good sounding. but heavy, heavy, heavy, heavy.
Yep, Northern Ash is heavy and that's where the stigma comes from. All Peavey T series were not NA though iirc. My T-30 is NA and weighs less than my alder Squier CV 60's, but more than my CV 50's.

Well,by that definition Fender scale is "extra" full? The misleading comment I was responding to was leaving the impression that the scale is 25 1/2". I corrected it.
More of your assumption than an impression, don't you think ?

24.75 - 25.5 are standard scales.thats like saying a single coil is a "short pickup", or a humbucker is an "extended pickup".your arguement and attempt and riding a high-horse above other "noobs" are fail.
And that is aimed at who ? Who is "your "?

Peavey's short scales are 23 1/2 "

Since when is 24.75 considered short scale? So it's a Gibson scale on a Fender style guitar, doesn't make it short. Even in the manual you posted the link to calls the t27 full scale.
Exactly

Way heavyweight guitars. Often bought by noob guitar collectors speculating, only to be sold at a loss. Short scale. Thin necks. Look also at the T-60, T-15's and so forth.
T-27 is not a short scale and if buying a used MIA guitar for peanuts makes one a noob, what's that make those who buy Asian imports new ? Fools ?

Basically a hard tail strat with a hb on the bridge. Nice guitars. The manual is dated '82

I have it's short scale cuz, the T-30

I can attest to the stability. My T-30 I just bought last week was missing the truss rod nut and the washer, and it was still playable and darn near spec on the relief. I had to cut a washer flat on 2 sides to get it in there and put a Gibson nut on the truss rod. It's the easiest playing guitar I've ever owned. (T-15's and T-30's are short scale)
