so how are you at time and rhythm?do you value a good feel for rhythm in guitar playing?
I consider guitar to be primarily a rhythm instrument and I'm at home locking in with drums and bass. I'm allergic to the idea that melody, harmony etc are all about guitar...
Do you 'anchor' your picking hand?

I change throughout a set depending on how I'm playing. I usually plant my pinky for fingerstyle picking. Strumming is freefloating with palm muting as needed...whatever works really.
