An alternative is to just purchase an SSD for your notebook, and clone your current system from the 5400 drive using EZ-Gig. My whole notebook goes like a bat out of hell now; startup is almost instantaneous.....
Swapping them is usually very easy; and these days 256 GB SSD's are going for less than $200......
(And once you learn how to swap them, you can dedicate a SSD to business, another to Music, another to video....
But by that time, you might as well spring for a 500GB SSD. And by THAT time, there will be 1T SSD's available for even less ....
