A few years ago, you could definitely make a fair amount of scratch just bouncing gear between Craigslist and eBay, but nowadays, stuff just isn't selling like it used to.

I'm sure if you're willing to do the legwork and a little haggling, you could get get something going. However, right now, people just don't have as much spendy cash to go around.

edit: I don't want to discourage you or anything, but I also don't want you to end up with a bunch of $350 guitars that you can't sell for $250, which is where a lot of folks are finding themselves nowadays.

Left: Agile 2800 HSBF (I think it's a 2800... rosewood fingerboard, maple veneer. Old headstock makes it a bit harder to figure out)

Korg DT-1 Pro tuner

Crown XLS 402 Power Amp - 900 watts bridged mono, 450 watts stereo 4ohm. Had an issue with a fan controller that burned out, but I replaced both fans and it has been running fine for the last 4 months or so.

BBE 862 Sonic Maximizer

Biamp 8 channel mixer. Old and dusty, but works great for a small PA system or band mixer.

Alesis Quadraverb - with power supply

Behringer Patchbay - 1/4" all throughout. Each quad of jacks has 4 settings so you can multiplex or patch in for effects.
