Westlake Audio, a leader in high-quality audio products for more than 25 years, will introduce the three-way Lc3w10V Monitor Speaker System at the 109th AES Convention, held from September 22 to 25 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Booth 1101. The compact Lc3w10V offers extensive electro-mechanical-acoustical dampening, an integrated passive crossover for single or bi-amp operation and tremendous output.

"The Lc3w10V is compact yet packs a great punch and is perfect for those who are looking for a smaller monitor with high output and wide bandwidth," explains Ken Centofante, sales and marketing director for Westlake Audio. "With the addition of the Lc3w10V, the Lc Series now offers one of the most complete selections of 2-way and 3-way monitor systems in the industry."

The Lc3w10V is 24 1/4" H x 12" W x 14" D, the system comprises of a 10-inch polypropylene woofer, a five-inch midrange and a 3/4-inch tweeter with an 80-watt continuous power handling capacity and sensitivity of 88dB @ 1M for 2.83V input. The Lc3w10Vs frequency response is rated at 42Hz-20kHz with an impedance level of 5 ohms nominal/3 ohms minimum. The monitor uses dual-banana, five-way binding posts that allow for bi-wire/bi-amp operation. At 71 pounds, the Lc3w10V comes finished in a black utility paint and carries a one-year warranty.

"The Lc3w10V is ideal for near- to mid-field listening situations," explains Centofante. "This speaker is perfect for recording and post production studios or just about any other application because of its size and incredible performance."
