Johnson has introduced the new Summit Series guitars, featuring two models featuring selected woods such as Engelmann spruce, Honduran Mahogany, and Indian Rosewood.

The Summit Series Mahogany, JG-D85-N, is built with a solid Engelmann spruce top. The back and sides are made of solid Honduran mahogany. The body of this guitar comes dressed in maple binding. The Summit Series Mahogany also comes with a bound rosewood fretboard that is inlaid with mother-of-pearl "snowflake" position markers. The rosette of the guitar is hand inlaid with abalone for even greater appeal, and the mahogany overlaid headstock features gold Grover tuners. List Price: $459.00.

The Summit Series Rosewood, JG-D95-N, has all of the same features as the JG-D85-N but with the addition of a solid Indian rosewood back and sides. The headstock is also bound with maple and features a rosewood overlay. The Summit Series Rosewood lists for $569.00.
