TC Works is showing the next major software revision for the realtime digital audio editor - Spark 1.5. Among many other enhancements, Spark 1.5 features all new cut editing enhancements, and the ability to use the powerful Master view section as a plug-in, independent of the Spark application, in both VST and/or MAS for Mac.

The Cut Editor now allows the user to work on 2 transitions simultaneously. A graphic display of the cuts is provided in the top half of the cut editor window. Type, Length and Splice settings are clearly indicated below, with End/Gain indicators for the first region, Start/End/Gain for the second and Start/Gain settings for the 3rd region. Also included is an A/B Compare memory button allowing you to compare two completely different sets of transitions, nudge controls (like in SoundDesigner) and Play settings like - One Shot, Loop, All, as well as Pre/Post roll settings. In addition to the graphic waveform display you can select presets.

Spark 1.5's Master View section is now available to be loaded as a VST or MAS plug-in (independent of running the Spark application) within programs like Cubase, Vision, Digital Performer etc. By turning the Master View into a Plug-In, many creative new possibilities can be tapped into - including placing a complex multi-effects chain consisting of several Plug-Ins onto an insert within the host application, or even simply using the Master View's metering, dithering and phase corellation meter. Additionally, now the FXMatrix within the Master View can be used as a unique plug-in adapter, to allow users of Mark Of The Unicorn/MAS to gain access to any VST plug in. Now MOTU/MAS users can run the new VST/MAS compatible TC Works Native Bundle - even as a VST plug-in, along side any of the other VST-only plug-ins on the market.

Retail Price of Spark 1.5 is $499. Native Bundle for VST/MAS $599.
