From the makers of the industry standard Finalizer+ studio mastering processor comes an all new approach to mastering with the TC Dynamizer, delivering TC-quality dynamics processing for users of the Soundscape Digital Audio Workstation and the new Soundscape Mixtreme PCI card.

The TC Dynamizer features integrated multiband expansion, compression and limiting, all optimized for mastering in a demanding production or broadcast environment: The streamlined, highly graphical approach to dynamics processing takes all unnecessary guesswork out of the mastering process, and makes it much faster & easier to get the desired result!

TC's Dynamizer combines several phases of mastering into a single, easy to use interface. Users won't be presented with the myriad of parameters they've come to expect from mastering products: Although employing a powerful multiband expander/compressor/limiter processing core, basically only 4 parameters are required to set the processing. This ease-of-use is enabled by TC's unique graphical Target Curve Editor, which selects the overall processing characteristics. The user need only set the frequency response curve to his liking, and adjust the amount of processing with the Energy fader. Job done! The Target Style parameters allow for additional fine adjustment of the Attack and Release response.

The TC Dynamizer includes accurate high resolution level metering with clipping counters and peak hold indicator. The digital ceiling parameter guarantees precise adjustment of the maximum volume where brick-wall limiting is required. A "Look Ahead" feature allows the TC Dynamizer to be prepared for sudden level anomalies in the program material, to avoid creating any audible artifacts.

"Soundscape is one of the premier solutions for hard disk recording on the PC, with many users in broadcast and mastering. The Mastering Plug-In is the next logical step after introducing our Reverb and fits with our quest to offer a complete processing environment on the platform.", says Ralf Schluenzen, Managing Director of TC Works.

"TC's Mastering algorithms have an impeccable pedigree", adds Chris Wright of Soundscape."I know that many of our users have been waiting for this and I'm pleased that the TC Dynamizer can provide the high end performance that they expect. The new Mixtreme card can also run the same Plug-In, so for the first time professional DSP algorithms like the TC Dynamizer and TC Reverb become available to users of Native recording environments such as MIDI/Audio sequencers and PC based sound editing packages."

The Plug-In is scheduled for release in August, the MFSRP is $799 US. The product will be exclusively distributed by Soundscape and its distributors.
