The BSM RM-Metal Treble Booster circuit is identical to a 1969 Range Master (same as the BSM RM model) that Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi had "tweaked" and used from the Paranoid album period and onwards. As the original, the unit uses the European OC44 germanium transistor and is fitted with a side mounted volume control. The result of the modified Range Master into a good tube amplifier is evident on Black Sabbath's Paranoid album (into a Laney stack).

The OC44 germanium transistors are carefully selected (over 50% are rejected by the manufacturer) and resin soaked over a three day period (to guarantee tension-free stability), to ensure superior sonic characteristics, optimal performance and long trouble-free life. The circuit is true bypass and has been updated to comply with current standards as well as eliminate unwanted noise and radio interference inherent in the original 60s designs.

All BSM Treble Boosters are handmade in Germany with meticulous attention to detail and offer a 5 year warranty. List Price: $220
