Riff Interactive, a developer of interactive guitar lesson CD-ROMs, has released a new Interactive Guitar Lesson CD-ROM products from guitar educator Michael Johnson.

Brian May (Queen) Style (retail $10.95, sale $9.95) teaches licks, tricks, and techniques as well as equipment background to help you recreate Brian May's style. Brian introduced many studio and effect techniques to create one of the most distinctive guitar sounds in rock. Most of his licks are easy to play, however it's how you layer the guitar parts over the other tracks that creates his guitar orchestra sound. In this lesson you'll learn how to create guitar harmonies while playing over the multi-layered jam tracks.

Michael Johnson is a musician, teacher, and author. His credentials and experience are diverse and impressive, playing guitar since the age of 6 and teaching for over 25 years, Michael is the '92 & '93 winner of the KISW "Best Guitarist in Seattle" and author, editor and web developer for Experience Hendrix (Jimi Hendrix estate). Michael has performed in former bands with recording artists George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob), Eric Martin (Mr. Big, 415, The Eric Martin Band) and currently teaches thousands of guitar students on RiffInteractive.com.

    The CD-ROM features:

    • Interactive tab/notation that syncs to the actual guitar audio.
    • Virtual guitar neck showing the notes being played and the fingering.
    • Select, loop, slow media and tab notation down to your desired speed while maintaining original pitch.
    • Videos and looping jam tracks to practice with.
    • Transcription of lessons where actual students interact with teacher.

The Riff Interactive CD-ROM catalog which contains previews of each product is at: www.riffinteractive.com/catalog/catalog.htm

All new CDs retail for $10.95, but are currently on sale for $9.95 for a limited time.hcck.asp
