Prosoniq to Release Vocoder Plug-In

Steinberg Software-und-Hardware GmnH, the market leader of music sofware on both Macintosh and Windows platforms today announced the Prosoniq Orange Vocoder PlugIn for Macintosh VST. This high-quality PlugIn digitally simulates a 24-band analog vocoder from the long tradition of German vocoder manfacturers such as the EMS/Rehberg system.
Prosoniq has created a realistic analog sounding analog sounding vocoder effect that is fully customizable and comes with an 8-voice virtual analog synthesizer unit and Freeform EQ and Filterband Reverb. The use of advance filter design technology and highly efficient coding techniques make this a powerful sound design.

- Realtime vocoder effect uses either any input source/VST audio track or the built-in oscillator as a carrier signal, and any VST audio track as a modulator.
- Fully customizable Freeform EQ with a maximum 2 nodes, ranging from +20 kHz to -20 kHz and resolving from +30dB to -30dB DFS
- Input channel flip to instantly exchange carrier and modulator signals
- Post-Vocoder Filterbank Reverb effect with mix, decay and density
