Peterson Ships Boxed Version Of Strobosoft With Intonation DVD

Since its release at the 2005 Summer NAMM show, Peterson Tuners' unique software strobe tuner, StroboSoft™, has been available in a digital delivery format via their web store only. Responding to the retail distribution demand, Peterson is now shipping a retail box version of StroboSoft. The retail box version will contain a cross platform version of StroboSoft, a full hardcopy manual, and a mini jack adaptor. Hardcore strobe tuner users will appreciate the included abstract strobe disc imagery that can be used as desktops for Mac and PC.

The retail box version also ships with an exclusive Peterson tuning and intonation DVD that covers set-up and maintenance as well as tuning and intonation methods on several popular guitars, both electric and acoustic. The DVD covers the use of AutoStrobe™ series tuners, Virtual Strobe™ series tuners, and StroboSoft™.

StroboSoft provides the same unparalleled 1/10th cent accuracy as the rest of the Peterson line and contains a collection of Peterson Sweetened™ Tunings that are optimized to make certain chords sound "sweeter". It is the exclusive software tuner incorporating the Buzz Feiten® Tuning System for open and intonation settings also. StroboSoft functions as a software chromatic tuner but also contains an exclusive "Instrument Mode" that incorporates an innovative "Intonation Function."
