Steinberg Soft-und Hardware GmbH, a provider of professional music and audio technologies, releases of the Model-E Virtual Analog Synth.

The Model-E has 16 multitimbral parts, up to 64 voices and 8 outputs per instrument. The Model-E utilizes the VST 2.0 engine, giving it complete integration with Cubase for no latency. Model-E's outputs appear directly in the VST mixer so that effects and EQ can be applied like any audio channel in realtime. All Model-E settings are automatically saved with song files and the final mix can be streamed out to an audio file. In addition, the Model-E is the first software synthesizer optimized for the Apple Macintosh G4 Velocity Engine.

Additional features of the Model-E Virtual Analog Synth include:

    • 5 Soundbanks (2 created by legendary synth programmers, Hubertus Maass and Wolfram Franke)
    • 128 memories per instrument
    • Ability to create your own instrument
    • 3 Oscillators
    • 6 Waveforms per Oscillator
    • 2 Pole and 4 Pole Low Pass Filter
    • Filter Modulation
    • Key Tracking
    • 2 Envelope Generators
    • Realtime recording and playback of all front panel control maneuvers.
The Model-E Analog Synth is currently available for both Macintosh and Windows platforms from Steinberg Dealers Worldwide or online for a MSRP of US$ 199.00.
