With a price of just $289.99, the Ibanez PF105SNT is definitely in the "entry-level" category. But its most important feature, a solid top which will sound better with age, was previously found only on higher end models. Commented Irene Shvartsman, the new head of Ibanez' acoustic division, "this is a new breakthough in price but it still comes with the our long time policy of inspecting and setting up every Ibanez guitar no matter what the price."

Along with a solid spruce top, the PF105SNT also features other features not often found on entry level guitars such as die-cast tuners, a 12th fret inlay and Ibanez headstock logo both made of mother of pearl, and a wooden rosette.
