Logic 5.5 Update Brings Full OS X Support

Emagic announced the release of Logic Series 5.5 for MacOSX, MacOS9.x and Windows 98Se/Me/2000/XP.

Logic Series 5.5 features support for the Emagic EXS24 mk II -- the new version of Emagic's software sampler. Logic Series 5 contains demo periods for the EXS24 -- if your demo has not already expired you can try a fully working version of the EXS24 mk II for up to 28 days. The Logic update offers several new features including enhanced Logic Control support, new Strip Silence functionality in the Arrange Page in Logic Gold and Logic Platinum, and the addition of OMF support in Logic Platinum for Mac OS X and Open TL file import and export in Logic Platinum, Gold and Audio for Mac OS X.

Logic Control and Logic Control XT are now supported by the entire Logic Series 5.5 -- Logic Gold and Logic Audio as well as Logic Platinum. All you need is the version 5.5 Update of Logic, which is available as free update for all owners of Logic Audio 5 and Logic Gold 5 (Windows and Mac).

The update is now available as a free download for all owners of Logic 5 for Mac OS 9.x, Mac OS X and Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP.
