Hyperprism 2 features a new real-time analog-style Vocoder for classic funk, rap, and robotic vocal effects. Arboretum's exciting new HyperVerb offers strikingly realistic reverb and ambience simulation. Other new Hyperprism modules include the Frequency Shifter, the Z-Morph "talk box" effect, new soft-knee Compressor, a professional Limiter, new Vari-Speed "tape-style" pitch shifter and an updated Doppler effect.

Built especially for electronic music production and film/video sound design, Hyperprism is a stand-alone program offering dozens of audio processes - a virtual rack of effects - which can be "played" much like any musical instrument. Hyperprism's distinctive Blue Window allows easy gestural control of every effect parameter. Imagine being able to tweak the wet/dry mix, room size and regeneration of a reverb effect, all simultaneously, with a single mouse movement.

Hyperprism 2 remembers and replays every mouse gesture, so you can create sounds which incorporate dynamic, evolving parameter changes, sounds that change and mutate in real-time, effects which seem to "dance" with the music.

In addition to the new processes, Hyperprism 2 now offers path automation editing for total control over realtime parameter movement, new non-destructive drag-and-drop file editing functions, support for multiple simultaneous effects and a distinctive new look.

New real-time play-through mode allows you to use Hyperprism 2 like a stand-alone hardware device in any live performance or studio setting. Simply route "live" signal to your Power Mac (or sound card's) audio inputs, process in Hyperprism, altering the sound "on the fly" with the Blue Window, then play the signal back out to your PA system, DAT machine or other audio devices. No file acquisition and no hard drive space is needed.

Hyperprism 2 also features new direct support for the Korg 1212I/O and the Digidesign Audiomedia II and III cards, without the use of Sound Manager drivers.

Hyperprism 2 runs on any Power Macintosh computer, no additional audio software or hardware required. Hyperprism 2 does not include the plug-in versions of Hyperprism, which are available separately and in combined packages for platforms including Pro Tools AudioSuite and TDM, VST, DirectX and Adobe Premiere plug-in formats.
