After a few years of use, a lot of guitars get that "beat up" look, and if you're looking for a way to breathe new life into your LP Custom or LP Standard, check out Gibson Strings & Accessories, new a Gibson Les Paul "Dress-up" kits. These kits are a great way to replace those worn out parts all at once, instead of trying to hunt down all of the parts separately. The LP Custom Kit includes: 5 ply black pickguard, black neck and bridge pickup mounting rings, switchwasher and switch knob, truss rod cover, gold plated jack plate and gold screws. The LP Standard Kit contains creme pickguard, creme neck and bridge mounting rings, switchwasher and knob, truss rod cover, creme jackplate and nickel screws.

In addition, you can now get the a Gibson Les Paul Backplate Combo Kits, which include both the control cavity backplate and the switch backplate (screws included), available in black or brown.

And there's more. Gibson Strings & Accessories has given the packaging of Gibson Replacement Parts and Accessories a new facelift for 1998. Based on the classic orange and black color scheme that has been featured on Gibson products like our old "orange box" string sets and even the identification labels found inside Gibson acoustic and electric-acoustic guitars since the 1940's, the new colors make their products even easier to find.
