Native Instruments introduced their Macintosh version of Generator, along with other additional new products, at the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Trade Show in Los Angeles January 28-31. Generator now offers PC and Macintosh users the power to create their own modular synthesizer designs, or recreate emulations of vintage synths, from classic modular designs, adding polyphony, MIDI control, & completely flexible modulation routings. GeneratorTM realtime modular synthesizer software retails for $298 in the USA & Canada from NI-USA.

TRANSFORMATORTM

TRANSFORMATOR is based on the successful modular design of GENERATOR, including all the effects modules, but brings to sampling what GENERATOR has brought to Synthesis: total freedom. TRANSFORMATOR is the world's first modular sampler.. in pure software. TRANSFORMATOR. offers features like: slowing down a sound until it freezes; removing any sense of pitch from a sound or imposing a new pitch onto the sound; bending the sound's formats; morphing from clean sound into harsh noise; making any sample sound like it was sung by a choir; sync any number of beatloops while they play.. and much more! The retail price for TRANSFORMATOR is the same as for GENERATOR: $298.
