Distributor M-Audio is now shipping five new volumes of Sonic Reality's Sonic ReFills for Propellerhead Reason. In contrast to many genre-specific, loop-based sample libraries, Sonic ReFills give Reason owners a vast assortment of instruments. This diverse collection includes classic keyboards, vintage drum kits, world percussion, obscure ethnic instruments, vintage guitars/basses and more. Many are the actual instruments used on hit recordings from the past half-century.

    The new titles are:

Vol. 16: Triple Bass -. Good things come in threes. This Sonic ReFill features three distinct bass types sampled by Sonic Reality: acoustic upright and electric bass guitar for Reason's NN-XT sampler and hundreds of synth bass patches for Reason's Subtractor and M lstrom synthesizers. Like bass libraries costing many times the price, this collection includes full tones played with finger and pick, mutes, slides, staccato notes, pulls, slaps and more--all from one value-packed library.

Vol. 17: Triple Guitars -- The Triple Guitars ReFill offers three distinct types of guitars: electric and acoustic steel and nylon for Reason's NN-XT sampler, plus hundreds of guitar synth lead patches for Reason's Subtractor and Malstrom synthesizers. Featuring Taylor, Gibson, Fender and other popular brands of 6- and 12-string guitars, this collection covers a wide range of playable guitar tones for many styles of music.

Vol. 18: Synths 3 - The third of Sonic Reality's synth ReFills concentrates on evolving pads and moody atmospheric textures. The Synths 3 ReFill is sure to please film, dance, pop and ambient composers who want to get the phattest synth sounds out of their Reason rack with samples and patches for Reason's NN-XT and more synth patches for Reason's Subtractor and Malstrom modules.

Vol. 19: Vocal Textures - This sound collection gives Reason users expressive human vocals, choirs and pads for the NN-XT sampler. You get everything from that Irish female vocal pad sound heard on major motion picture soundtracks to weaving textures of oohs, ahhs, mmms and other vowels. The vocal work is done by top professional singers from around the world, including Jason Scheff (Chicago), Roger Manning (Jellyfish, Beck) and more.

Vol. 20: Mello-T - For lo-fi nostalgia, this library delivers the oft-sought sound of the incredible vintage Mellotron and Chamberlin tape-based keyboards. From the classic "Strawberry Field Flutes" to the ominous "Tron Choirs" to the moody blue sound of violins and strings, this value-packed ReFill brings thousands of dollars of collectible vintage "Trons" to Reason's NN-XT sampler.

Sonic ReFills are expected to ship in the beginning of August at an MSRP of $49.95 each volume.
