Wavelength has released the "europa" for the SFP and XTC platforms. The "europa" will add authentic "Jupiter" and "Juno"-style sounds to your sonic arsenal.
130 factory presets are included, with some classic patches in the list. Of course, "Jupiter" and "Juno"-series sounds are not all that the "europa" is capable of. You will find it to also be a squelchy acid-machine, while still being able to nail that coveted "hoover". Punchy basses, evolving ambient pads, elastic glides... the "europa" is a very flexible sound-generator.
All of the parameter controls are arranged clearly on the devices' surface, ready for tweaking. Some of the truly authentic control features that the "europa" includes are "Jupiter"-style Unison (stack all voices, or split Unison voices over chords), a "Moog"-style "Restart Mode", separate Legato controls (can be applied with or without glide) and a very flexible Glide section.
Careful consideration has gone into the "europa" design, allowing the most musical and useful modulation and control features to be onboard, while still keeping the DSP-usage to a minimum.
The Wavelength "europa" is now available for $99 from the Wavelength Devices web site. A demo version is also available.
