  • Recording King Presents New Lap Steel at Summer NAMM 2010

    By Guest |

Recording King introduces the brand new electric lap steel for players who want classic slide tones from blues to rock to country.

The Recording King Lap Steel guitar is now available in matte mahogany (RG-31) or classic sunburst (RG-32) finishes. The solid mahogany body and the string-through-body design makes for full, powerful sustain. A single EMG-designed Alnico P-90 pickup gives the RK Lap Steel the classic lap steel tone. The matte mahogany version features open-geared tuning machines, and a slotted headstock, while the classic sunburst model has traditional-style tuners on a Recording King headstock. The single volume and tone controls allow players to shape their tone easily and effectively, from classic country lines to searing blues licks.

The Recording King Lap Steel guitar has a MAP of $149.99 in either finish. Both are available now.
