  • Memphis Chapter And Producers & Engineers Wing Of The Recording Academy Host Indie Impact Workship On Mixing

    The Memphis Chapter of The Recording Academy® in association with the Producers & Engineers Wing® today announced that it will host How To Make A GRAMMY®-Winning Mix: A Listening Session With Paul Ebersold, on November 14, 2006 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m, as part of the Indie Impact series of monthly workshops designed for music industry entrepreneurs. Indie Impact is a GRAMMY Professional Development Event which features workshops and networking opportunities for independent musicians and labels. How To Make A GRAMMY-Winning Mix will focus on the art of engineering, mixing and producing recordings with GRAMMY-winning producer/engineer Paul Ebersold.

    Ebersold is a Memphis-based, GRAMMY-winning producer and engineer who has worked with such artists as Third Day, 3 Doors Down and Sister Hazel. With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, he is one of the nation's most sought-out producers.

    The workshop is free to Recording Academy members and $5.99 for the general public. The session will be held at the Media Co-Op at First Congo in the Cooper-Young neighborhood (1000 South Cooper St.) on Tuesday, November 14 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
