Beijing Film Academy Sound Recording Department Gets Lectrosonics Wireless

Founded in 1950, the Beijing Film Academy is at the heart of China’s burgeoning film industry and is currently the only specialized institution of its kind in China’s higher education system. Highly regarded for its contributions to the art of film, numerous graduates of the academy have won international acclaim for their cinematic efforts. In recognition of the academy’s achievements and to foster more opportunity for the students, there was a special, January 1^st ceremony on campus where Lectrosonics equipment was donated to the academy’s sound recording department.

Coordinated through Beijing’s Dingrun Tong Tech Limited and Los Angeles, CA-based More Technologies, Inc., a variety of Lectrosonics wireless microphone products were presented to the Beijing Film Academy.  The donated equipment included a Lectrosonics Venue receiver system stocked with four VRS receiver modules, MM400B water-resistant miniature beltpack transmitters, UM400 beltpack transmitters, UM400A beltpack transmitters, and two UCR411a compact receivers. All equipment employs Lectrosonics highly acclaimed Digital Hybrid Wireless technology, which uses a proprietary algorithm to encode 24-bit digital audio information with no compression and low distortion into an analog format that can be transmitted in a robust manner over an analog FM wireless link.
