Hot on the heels of their new Plugstation, Kenton has released the Control Freak Live.

This latest addition to the popular Control Freak range has 16 knobs instead of sliders and 8 buttons, plus a further 8 buttons available by using shift - all the functionality of the Control Freak Studio Edition, but at the same price and with the compact size of the Control Freak Original. The Control Freak Live is available for purchase now.

In a recent software update, Kenton have added several exciting new features to the Control Freak. These include a scene memory (256 scenes), a program erase function and a control channel which allows you to change the Freak's internal program location from a MIDI master keyboard using program change commands. All new Freaks ship with these features as standard, and software upgrade chips for older units are available for 15.00 pounds Sterling + VAT.
