  • Line 6 Launches Studio2Stage Magazine/Product Guide

    By Guest |

A sample issue, distributed to key Line 6 dealers, was such a success that Line 6 has committed to a regular publishing schedule, with expanded content including a complete Product Guide.

In keeping with its name, Studio2Stage will focus on the way Line 6 gear is being used by artists in both recording and performance venues. The current issue contains original material about the growing number of producers, engineers and session players who rely on Line 6 gear to get their sound.

Andy Partridge of XTC talks about his creative process, and the essential role POD played in the making of XTC's latest album. Todd Rundgren, a long-time user of Amp Farm (the Line 6 plug-in for Pro Tools)in his production work, talks about his performance requirements. Rodney Jones, lead guitarist on the Rosie O 'Donnell Show, explains why he depends on digital technology and Line 6 gear specifically, and Tim Pierce provides a glimpse into the life of one of L.A.'s busiest session players.

Cameos of a half-dozen other industry greats provide insight into their experience and techniques, and the full-line catalog included in each issue provides detailed graphic and feature presentations of each piece of Line 6 gear.

Studio2Stage is published tri-annually and will be distributed at authorized dealers worldwide. With Line 6 's signature combination of functionality and flair, the Studio2Stage shipping container converts to a countertop display/dispenser for in-store use.
