  • Avlex and MiPro Introduce The ACT 81 and ACT 82 Digital Wireless Microphone Systems

    By Guest |

Avlex Corporation proudly introduces the MIPRO ACT 81 and ACT 82 Digital Wireless Microphone Systems, featuring a full color VFD (Vacuum Florescent Display), 24-bit digital audio quality with advanced DSP, a sub-band ADPCM algorithm, and full 128-bit encryptionl.

Whether it's the single receiver MIPRO ACT 81 or the dual receiver ACT 82, the first and most obvious impression of these new systems is the high-quality attention to detail exhibited in MIPRO's workmanship. With eye-pleasing industrial design that includes a vivid, full-color VFD display that provides a wealth of visual feedback to the smooth, secure, and tactile operation of all buttons and knobs, these systems are world-class in every aspect of their design.

In terms of audio quality, the new MIPRO ACT 81 and ACT 82 are equally impressive. Featuring 24-bit digital audio quality, these two systems offer state-of-the-art capability. As the ACT 81 and ACT 82 are both full digital systems, the transmission quality is constant and the signal-to-noise ratio will not deteriorate. With the ACT 81 and ACT 82, there is no saturation or distortion at the higher frequencies of a high SPL input, and both systems utilize a sophisticated sub-band ADPCM algorithm that virtually eliminates compandor noise and restores the original sound quality of the source. For ease of operation, both systems incorporate MIPRO's legendary Autoscan and Automatic Channel Targeting (ACT) functionality.

Featuring advanced DSP technology, the MIPRO ACT 81 and ACT 82 wireless systems incorporate built-in equalization and microphone capsule modeling. These capabilities enable operators to fine tune the system's sound to their liking while also emulating the sonic characteristics of popular microphones. The result is a wireless system with breathtaking audio quality and the flexibility to customize that sound.

For installers and those who specify equipment for permanent installations such as corporate boardrooms and government facilities, the MIPRO ACT 81 and ACT 82 Digital Wireless Microphone Systems are ideal. With their proprietary 128-bit encryption capability, end users can rest assured that the conversations and information presented using the ACT 81 and ACT 82 remain strictly confidential—free from the prying ears of those who would seek to obtain such information without permission.

Digital transmission for the new ACT 81 and ACT 82 wireless systems is via the ACT-8H handheld transmitter or the ACT-8T bodypack transmitter. Both units incorporate a multifunction LCD indicator for displaying channel, transmitter battery status, input levels, and error codes.

To further simplify operation, the new MIPRO ACT 81 and ACT 82 can be configured via PC-controllable software. Directly via the PC, operators can manage simultaneous monitoring and control of multiple, large scale systems.

Avlex Corporation anticipates the MIPRO ACT 81 and ACT 82 Digital Wireless Microphone Systems will be available March 2007. Pricing is to be announced.
