    By Guest |

Top UK engineers have combined their strength to launch Online Music Mixing.

This new online mixing service provides direct access for labels and artists to some of the best production talent in the industry. credits include Simian Mobile Disco, The Libertines and The Klaxons and Dave Pemberton, who has worked closely with Liam Howlett of The Prodigy on their latest album, and also with Orbital, The Ting Tings and Goldfrapp.

Daniel Hulme, MD of Online Music Mixing, said: "Technology-enabled services such as online mastering have changed the landscape of the music business. OMM has now taken this one step further by creating a means for everyone, from major and independent labels to unsigned artists funding their own projects, to access industry-leading mix talent at affordable prices."

Clients can tailor the service to their own requirements by requesting a specific engineer and then choosing from a range of service levels and price points. They are also encouraged to provide extensive notes and references when they upload their session files. "Effective information exchange is critical to the quality of the end product, so we make sure the engineer is always available to chat if necessary," Daniel Hulme adds. "Our aim is to create a one-to-one dialogue between client and engineer, even though the service is provided remotely. We also send a proof of the mix before completion, so any final adjustments can be made."

The service will be launched worldwide on the 2nd April 2010 and is available at http://www.onlinemusicmixing.co.uk
