Peavey has introduced the Messenger, a complete, portable sound system designed with the compact size and carry-on convenience of a briefcase.
At 24" wide and a mere 25 lbs., the Messenger is easily portable, completely self contained and sets up in seconds. The Messenger's five-channel mixer and 100-watt output make it ideal for an endless array of applications, from school, church and business functions to karaoke and open-mic performances. Its top also functions as a lectern to hold your meeting notes or song lyrics.
Peavey designed the Messenger with a unique Split-Track Mix section so you can add AV accompaniment for any application. With its independent master volume, this feature is especially useful for inserting pre-recorded music from a laptop, CD player, audio cassette or portable MP3 player to accompany live singing as well as solo music performances.
The built-in five-band EQ features Peavey's FLS Feedback Locator System, a technology that allows users to quickly identify and eliminate feedback whenever it occurs. The Messenger also comes with Peavey's best-selling PVi microphone and all necessary cables to set up and operate the system.
With two mic/line (XLR & 1/4") input channels, an additional line channel and the stereo Split-Track Mix section, you'll find plenty of capability to handle additional vocalists, performers, instruments or AV audio sources.
The Messenger (U.S. MSRP $499.99) is now available from authorized Peavey retailers.
