HK Audio Introduces Next Generation Of L.U.C.A.S Live Sound Speakers

The new L.U.C.A.S generation consists of four systems that establish new standards for compact active PA systems thanks to the incorporation of the latest digital technology and flat-out excellent sound.

L.U.C.A.S Max is the new flagship of the L.U.C.A.S family. Fully loaded with new technology—e.g., three PWM digital power amplifiers and the patent-applied-for DDO™ Controller (Digital Dynamics Optimisation)—this system redefines the limits of achieveability in terms of sonic performance, high power, and compactness. Three digital power amplifiers with 1200 watts of total RMS power deliver more than enough sound pressure for events up to 250 persons. With its single 15" subwoofer and pair of 8"/1" satellite speakers, L.U.C.A.S Impact offers substantially reduced weight, easy operation, and a high level of satisfaction not only during but also before and after every performance, with particularly easy setup and tear-down.

L.U.C.A.S Performer is the next logical step in the development of the original L.U.C.A.S concept with all the advantages of the next generation. 900 watts of RMS digital power combined with tried-and-true OFR™ technology ensure powerful sound with a smooth, linear response for audiences of up to 200. L.U.C.A.S Performer shines with its relatively lightweight neodymium loudspeakers, its effortless handling, and its sleek new black look. The 15" speaker provides a solid bass foundation, and the 8"/1" satellite speakers deliver transparent sound that carries very well directly to its listeners' ears thanks to the integral MonoTilt™ stand-mounting collar.
