Peavey introduces the hard-rocker V-Type guitar series, in two models: the tremolo and the string-through-body. These guitars are geared to the extreme player with high output pickups and a neck that caters to fast finger work.
Both guitars feature a 13-degree, pitched, reverse headstock with six-in-line tuners. This headstock design is attached to a neck with a 24 1/2" scale, and 24 jumbo frets on an ebony fret board with a 15-inch radius for lightning-fast lead work. The neck also features a dual-expansion truss rod for easier, more accurate neck adjustments.
The high output is aggressive sound courtesy of a bridge-position humbucking pickup with ceramic magnets and a dual-blade ceramic neck humbucker. These pickups are wired to a three-way switch, enabling the musician to extract a wide-range of tones.
The guitar's body wood is alder. Both models come in satin black, tangerine, pearl silver and topaz blue.
