    The HF1 Fatboy
After the creation of the H1 and H2 signature series guitars, Carvin and Allan Holdsworth have continued their collaboration to produce the new "Fatboy" guitars. The idea for the guitars came from Holdworth's need for a semi-hollow acoustic electric guitar. The body shape is similar the H1 and H2 models, except that the new HF1 and HF2 Fatboys feature acoustic bodies 2 3/8" thick, which isn't just chambered as it is in the H1 and H2. The HF1 and HF2 models are identical, but the HF2 includes two H22 humbucking pickups, rather than just one. Both Fatboy models also include a set in maple neck, plus white birch top and back. The Fatboy also includes a twin beam floating suspension system designed to let the top and back of the body resonate freely.

List price for the HF1 is $1799, and for the HF2, $1949.

    Features:

    • Set in maple neck
