According to Ibanez their new small acoustic--mini-dreadnoughts, Ibanez calls them--are more than mere travel guitars. "We wanted something that looked, felt, played, and sounded like a full size guitar, without the full size, of course," commented Ritchie Umemura of the Ibanez Acoustic Division in Bensalem, PA. "If you look at the guitar by itself it doesn't look any different than a full size guitar. It's not until you see it next to a full size guitar that you see how conveniently and comfortably small it is. But it's doesn't sound small. It's got a full-sized guitar sound. Best of all, unlike some travel guitars, our Daytrippers use standard E-A-D-G-B-E tuning."
