    By Guest |

Fender® Acoustics proudly announces the introduction of two new instruments to its high quality family of Ensenada™ Series acoustic instruments. Designed and made with a combination of old world craftsmanship and modern technology in Fender's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Ensenada, Mexico, these new instruments can be seen and played for the first time at this winter's NAMM show in Anaheim, California.

For musicians who prefer a 12 fret acoustic guitar and enjoy the flexibility of being able to play through an amplifier, the new ESV-10 12 Fret Orchestra model is the ideal choice. Professional level quality without the "boutique" price, the new ESV-10 12 Fret Orchestra features a solid spruce top, solid Palo Escrito back and sides, mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, and an ebony bridge with compensating bone saddle.

For players who prefer the Grand Auditorium body style, the new ESA-10 Grand Auditorium offers superlative quality, performance and sound. Like the ESV-10 Orchestra model, the ESA-10 Grand Auditorium features a solid spruce top, solid Palo Escrito back and sides, mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, and an ebony bridge with compensating bone saddle.

Each models features a gold Grover Open-Gear tuning machines, 25.5" scale length, abalone dot position inlays, abalone Fender headstock logo, headstock overlay, multiple wood body binding, rosewood heel cap, three-piece wood back center stripe, ebony bridge pins with abalone dots and an ebony end pin. Each model is also available with Fishman® Ellipse™ electronics that have been designed by Fender R&D specifically for these instruments.

US MSRP is $1,214.27 for the acoustic models, and $1,428.56 for models with electronics.
