American guitar maker Dana Bourgeois has introduced his new hand made version of the OM guitar that will fit the needs of all guitar players at an affordable price. The Bourgeois OM model compliments the already established dreadnaught Ricky Skaggs Signature, Ricky Skaggs Country Boy models, and the Martin Simpson Slope D cutaway model guitars.

The body components for the Bourgeois OM are a high grade spruce soundboard, along with quarter sawn Hondorus Mahogany back, sides, and neck. To complete the appointments of the Bourgeois OM we have used tortoise style binding on the body as well as a tortise style pickguard. The mahogany spruce combination was chosen to give the player a precise recording/performing insturment that has been used by studio musicians for the last 50 years, as well as an instrument that will complement other instruments the player already has in their "arsenal of musicians tools."

As with all Bourgeois flat-top guitars, the Bourgeois OM features the unique "Voiced Top", adirondack "red" spruce braces on tops/backs, an ebony fingerboard/bridge, ebony bridge pins/strap pin, 25.5" scale, pearl logo/inlays, and the individual attention that Dana Bourgeois' shop in Lewiston, Maine has always produced with his 10 person team. This model along with all Bourgeois guitars, have Dana Bourgeois personally voicing the tops on every guitar. With over 20 years of experience building acoustic guitars, Dana brings his touch into every instrument built in the Lewiston, Maine shop. Dana's experience has translated into producing one of the the premier acoustic guitars being made in the United States today and in the last 65 years. Bourgeois Guitars are made to sound great today and to sound even better for your grandchildren in 30 years.
