  • AXL Introduces the All-New MJZ: Retro Guitars Packed with Value

    By Guest |

AXL is excited to introduce our all-new MJZ body shape with P-90’s in both standard and Badwater finishes. For players who appreciate classic looks and the gritty tone of P-90 pickups, the MJZ delivers a breath of fresh air.

With a solid alder body and a rock maple neck, the MJZ starts with a tried-and-true foundation. We build on that with 2 overwound Alnico P-90 pickups controlled by a 3-way switch. Magazines everywhere have been blown away by the sound of our pickups, and these P-90’s are some of the hottest that we put on our guitars.

The offset body design is available in Lake Placid blue, sunburst and metallic silver with matching headstock. The tortoise pickguard and bound headstock give the MJZ an unmistakable vintage vibe. We’re also offering it in two of our best-selling Badwater finishes, off-white and antique brown. Add other classic design features like a tremolo bridge, rosewood fretboard, and 25-1/2” scale length, and the MJZ delivers the look and tone players want at a price they can’t resist.

The all-new AXL MJZ (AZ-800/820) has a MAP of $209.99 and will be available in

    March 2011.

AXL Guitars is also the builder of the Wavepoint, Jacknife and Marquee Series electric guitars and basses. For more information on AXL guitars, visit axlguitars.com.
