Blackbox Releases New Effects Pedal

Blackbox Music Electronics has announced the immediate availability of their new Oxygen Compressor/Limiter/Gate designed for guitar and bass as well as other instruments. The Oxygen is a warm and musical high gain compressor which can also be used for overdrive and distortion.

The Oxygen compressor puts many features usually only found in high end studio compressors into a stompbox format, not to mention adding some features not included in any stompbox compressor. The Oxygen is designed from the ground up to be very flexible and transparent, with the ability to add more warmth to your signal through the use of "tape saturation" like signal distortion. The Oxygen can be used for everything from light, clean compression to a warm and crunchy, high gain sound and can achieve some incredible sustain.

User controllable parameters are: Gain, noise gate threshold, limiting threshold, compression ratio/amount, compression release/gate attack time, "dirt" saturation controls. Included are an LED status indicator and a DC power jack for battery or DC adapter operation. Like all Blackbox products, bypass switching is true bypass.
