  • Steve Sidelnyk Signature Sounds Released for ddrum4

    By Guest |

Clavia now releases four exclusive dance/techno/R'n'b/hip-hop sound libraries for the ddrum4 system made by Steve Sidelnyk. Steve Sidelnyk is drummer and programmer and has worked (and still works) with many great artists. One of them is Madonna. Steve performed with Madonna on her European promotion tour and at the MTV Europe Music Awards show in Stockholm in the autumn of 2000. He also played on Madonna's 'Drowned World Tour' in 2001, exclusively using a ddrum4 system with his own sounds downloaded.

Now, Steve has created four impressive libraries of his exclusive dance/electronic/R'n'b/hip-hop sounds for the ddrum4 system: the Record, Real, Rhythm and Retro libraries. Each library consists of one complete Kit plus a vast amount of additional sounds.

The 'Record' library: This is a mix of sounds derived from records Steve has worked on. A lot of the sounds have been EQed by the great engineers and mixers of our time. Most of the sounds from the 'Record Kit' was used on the 'Drowned World Tour'.

The 'Real' library: This is a collection of great kicks and snares of varying makes of drums and in various studios in London. Steve has tried to give you a selection of usable sounds in any situation.

The 'Rhythm' library: For all you hip, swing, breakbeat, in-yer-face heads; some fab mixtures of processed and electronic sounds. All nicely compressed and direct. Steve challenges anybody to find a more comprehensive collection of kicks and smacking snares.

The 'Retro' library: It's what Steve has been using since machines began ruling the rhythm camp. But these have a massive twist and are a fine collective of the fattest beatbox sounds and "klassik kiks".

The Steve Sidelnyk Signature Sound libraries can be downloaded now from www.clavia.se - free of charge. It's also possible to order all the sounds on a CD from your local Clavia instrument distributor.
