RockenWraps Offers New DIY Drum Finishes

Queensryche founder, drummer, and Grammy-nominated composer Scott Rockenfield has launched RockenWraps, a new line of custom drum finishes that make it easy for drummers to make a strong visual statement and stand out on stage.

Designed and created by Rockenfield after touring the world for more than twenty years with Queensryche, RockenWraps are produced using a process that combines vivid designs and durability, are super-easy to apply, and interchangeable. From a 5-piece starter kit, up to a 20 piece-kit & beyond, RockenWraps can handle the job.

RockenWraps designs are rendered in high resolution digital graphics that are layered until they are as vivid as possible, then printed using a special process that seals and secures the wraps for durability.

RockenWraps were born in Rockenfield's basement, where he was experimenting with new ways to refinish drums. "Designing a drum kit that was unique and stood out to the crowd was always my goal, yet the one thing that I could not find was something unique with the actual drum finish itself. Almost all of the finishes that were available were solids, or sparkles, or wood tones... I wanted to be different," says Rockenfield.

RockenWraps are available in 80 designs that range from abstract cool to outrageous.
